Ethos

As an independent, non-racial, co-educational, Sifundzani High School is especially valued by parents seeking for their children an academic environment that reflects Christian standards. Learners of all faiths and denominations are admitted. Daily assemblies and weekly long assemblies on Fridays form integral components of the school's ethos. The Chaplain spends time with every class during the week and learners who wish to do so may ask to be prepared for Confirmation.

PRAYER OF ST FRANCIS TO BE ADDED

Lord make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me saw love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith

Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy; O Devine Master, grant that I may not so much seek;
To be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are born to eternal life.

God, bless Africa
Guard her children,
Guide her rulers,
And give her peace;
For Jesus Christ’s sake,
Amen.

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father who art in heaven;
Halloweth be Thy name;
Thy kingdome come;
Thy will be done on earth ;
As it is in heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses;
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
And deliver us from evil,
For thine is thy kingdom,
The power and the glory
Forever and Ever
Amen.
